If you are visiting our site because you have been told to get your kit from us and can't find what you are looking for - don’t panic!
We hold a lot of specialised items that don’t appear on our web site.

Your list is long and hard to get right without trying things on, especially if you are not used to Scottish weather.
We have found the easiest way to get you the best fit is for you to e-mail markh@hewats.com with your sizes: shoe, chest, waist (and hip if you are a girl) and let us know if you are over 6 feet tall, then list the items you want to have waiting for you at the start of term. We will then set aside the items we think you will end up taking.
When you arrive in Edinburgh, call in to see us, try things on
Helmets need to be fitted in person.

If you are new to the course and don’t know what size tunic and trousers you need we would strongly encourage you to call in and try things on
If you are a returning student and you are sure what size is good for you, considering the movement and stretching involved in your occupation, you can place orders by phone or e-mail.

Either way we normally have orders for this course delivered and they will be with you in time for your first practical class.
